(updated: 11/03/2009 10:30:00)

Jim sleeping We are one of the most active Dive Clubs in Scotland with 45 members and diving nearly every weekend from our own boat. We meet every Tuesday evening at 8.00pm at our Club House which is located right in the centre of Irvine Harbourside.
Even if you have never dived before, please feel free to come along on Tuesday evening and join in. A "try-dive" with all sub-aqua equipment supplied is available for a donation of £10.00. Just bring your regular swimming gear, a T-shirt and a tenner. See the Contact Information if you wish to speak to us before you take the plunge.

Lecture As a branch of ScotSAC we provide training to achieve a ScotSAC qualification. This is recognized by dive schools and charters all around the world. Our Training section has details of what the ScotSAC training requirements are.
Irvine Sub Aqua Club welcomes divers qualified by organisations other than ScotSAC. We recognize all of the training which you have successfully completed and provide "top up" training to bring you up to the appropriate ScotSAC level. This generally involves rescue drills and the use of our decompression tables. Click here to see the ScotSAC Qualified Diver Crossover table.
Training and lectures are provided at no charge to our members

Divers in boatTrainees are welcome every time we dive.  Most of our diving is in the Firth of Clyde, an area rich in wrecks due to the history of the Clyde as one of the busiest sea lanes in the world. There is also a wide variety of marine life as the tidal currents carry a lot of good feeding past the colourful creatures. We do go further afield, see our Expeditions page for information on upcoming trips, and our Photographs page for pictures from previous ones.
Air fills to 300bar are available - please see the Services page for details. These are NOT O2 clean so bring an inline filter if your tanks are O2 clean.

Go underneath the footbridge linking the Magnum Centre car park to reception, then take a right at the next road junction. At the end of this road (approx. 100m) is Harbour Street.
