We
are one of the most active Dive Clubs in Scotland
with 45 members and diving nearly every weekend from our own boat. Trainees are
welcome every time we dive.
We meet every Tuesday evening at 8.00pm at our Club House which
is
located right in the centre of Irvine Harbourside. Find us

Even if you have never dived before, please
feel free to come along on Tuesday evening and join in.
A "try-dive" with all sub-aqua equipment supplied is available for a donation
of £10.00.
Just bring your regular swimming costume, a T-shirt and a tenner. See the

As a branch of ScotSAC we offer excellent diving,
and
will provide training to
achieve a ScotSAC qualification. This is recognized by dive schools and charters
all around the world.

Most of our diving is in the Firth of Clyde, an area rich in
wrecks due to the history of the
Clyde
as one of the busiest sea lanes in the world. There is also a wide variety of
marine life as the tidal currents carry a lot of good feeding past the colourful
creatures.

These are NOT O2 clean so bring an inline filter if your tanks are O2
clean.
Irvine
Sub Aqua Club welcomes divers qualified by organisations other than ScotSAC. We
recognize all of the training which you have successfully completed and provide
"top up" training to bring you up to the appropriate level. This
generally involves rescue drills and the use of our decompression tables.

Training and lectures are provided at no charge to our members on Tuesday
evenings and on every dive trip.

The
Club House faces over the River Irvine at the turning circle at the end
of
Harbour Street
.
From the A78 Irvine Bypass or A71, follow the signs for the
'Magnum Centre'. Go underneath the footbridge linking the Magnum Centre
car park to the reception, then take a right at the next road junction.
At the end of this road (approx. 100m) is
Harbour Street
. Turn left, the Club House is 50m on your left.
